What I personally like about rowing machines is that they provide you with a full body workout while helping you avoid joint pain.
An indoor rowing machine allows you to work your legs, your arms, your back and your core muscles at the same time.
What makes them great for home use is that they’re easily foldable so they don’t take up too much space when you’re not using them.
Given that there are so many rowing machine models out there starting from $100 and going well over $2000 it may seem difficult to choose what rowing machine you should I buy.
I’m going to start with the best rowing machine which is without a doubt the CONCEPT2 Model D indoor rowing machine. ThisĀ is a high quality piece of fitness equipment that pro athletes also use.
It’s about $900 but it’s totally worth the price, and it works great whether you’re a beginner rower or someone who’s rowed their entire life.
Ofcourse if you’re on a budget there’s also other indoor rowers that work very well and are quality built. I encourage before you buy to go online and take a look at some rowing machine reviews. There are many websites that give you information to help you make a decision.
If you think rowing isn’t for you, another great exercise equiptment which you can use at home is the elliptical trainer.
Now… this machine also works almost every muscle group just like the rowing machine does, but because your in a standing position, your joints aren’t protected from pain. The best home elliptical should not take too much space and should be easy to move around.
One more thing before I leave you with this. I’ve told you to look online for reviews and oppinions from other people. Well one of the best places/websites I found containing useful information for those of us who want to exercise in our own home is Niugu8 Cardio Machines Reviews. Detailed, easy to understand information on everything you need to know to start working out at home.
Ohh and I almost forgot, there’s also a ton cardio machines videos on Youtube you can totally check out.
